Michelle Plyer Office Manager
Michelle Plyer, associate and assistant, was born and raised on the Mid-Peninsula. She has been in and around residential real estate for many years, as the daughter of Joanne (Plyer) Wondolowski, a well known and highly respected Realtor and Manager of several major real estate companies over the past 20 years, and as a part-time administrative employee in San Mateo, Burlingame, and San Francisco real estate offices from 1998 to 2002. Michelle graduated from Notre Dame Belmont High School and earned her Bachelor’s Degree from the University of California at Irvine. At UCI Michelle graduated Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa. She also received the Dean’s Scholar Award and the Chancellor’s Award for Excellence in Research, and participated in the Social Ecology Senior Honors Program.
Michelle is a very vocal and passionate fan of the San Francisco Giants and San Francisco Forty-Niners. Michelle is also the oldest of eight siblings and enjoys watching her brother Chris play soccer for the Houston Dynamo and her brother Stephen plays soccer for UC Santa Cruz.
Michelle is a licensed real estate agent that demonstrates expertise and empathy in working with Anne’s clients through the often-times fast-paced and complex transactions. Michelle’s local roots and knowledge of the area provide clients with a good real estate experience. An avid interest in legal aspects of real estate contracts has given Michelle exceptional skills with escrows and documentation work for every transaction.
 Joanne Wondolowski

Joanne Wondolowski joined Alain Pinel Realtors in July 2003 as co-manager of the company’s Danville office and in November of the same year was appointed manager of APR´s new Burlingame office, its 21st. She is a 20-year veteran in residential real estate having started her career in 1983 as a sales person for Trotter Real Estate on the San Francisco Peninsula.
In 1989 she was appointed manager of Fox & Carskadon´s Millbrae office. In 1993 she joined Cornish & Carey to manage their San Mateo office and was one of their top managers when Cornish & Carey was acquired by Coldwell Banker in 1997. Thereafter, Joanne left Coldwell Banker and helped McGuire Real Estate open its Burlingame office as the manager, growing the office to one of the most successful real estate operations on the Peninsula, with over 50 top sales associates.
Joanne is on the Board of Directors for Shelter Network, San Mateo County’s only program that provides long-term shelter for homeless people, and recently helped raise over $50,000 from the real estate community toward a new shelter in San Mateo.
She is married to John Wondolowski, has two daughters and 3 stepsons. Her oldest daughter Michelle has followed in her footsteps and is working as a realtor. In Joanne’s spare time, she enjoys hiking and watching her stepson play professional soccer. |
